Continuing Education
|
|
The State of Idaho currently requires a total of 30
continuing education credits every 3 years to maintain an active veterinary
license. The IVMA and its regional associations offer continuing
education events throughout the year to assist veterinarians in meeting their
continuing education needs. Members receive significant reductions in meeting registration fees,
not only in Idaho, but in the surrounding states.
The IVMA holds two statewide meetings each year with
nationally recognized speakers. In odd numbered years the Jackson Hole Veterinary Rendezvous, a tri-state meeting of the Idaho, Wyoming and Utah
veterinary medical associations, is held at Jackson, Wyoming. In addition, there are times for fellowship and
recreational activities. The regional associations hold local continuing education opportunities more frequently throughout the year. Check out the
events calendar
for upcoming educational and fellowship opportunities.
